The Newcastle sewing community that Julie is a part of formed the Sewing Ladies Who Lunch and this year they ran their first Frocktails in March 2024.

When you listen to Julie you’ll find out when the next Newcastle Frocktails is on for 2025. Last week we heard Karen Lennox talk about their behind the scenes event work to get their first Frocktails happening.

Julie’s sewing life started with her dear mother. Her sewing and her online sewing life is cheered on by Jean Bas of Jean Bas Design. Jean is a local couture designer who has a solid history in the Australian rag trade.
