Lisa Bobo Bun
Lisa is a lifelong Vintage Inspired Seamstress and Dressmaking Teacher and created Bobo Bun’s Sewing School in Norwich, UK.
As a child she was always making something or could be found curled up with a book.
Lisa first learnt to sew on her mum’s Vintage Singer Sewing machine. She’d been sewing non stop since then, learning everything she could while teaching as her full time career.
These days, if Lisa is not teaching dressmaking classes, you’ll find her sewing, knitting or planning her next project.

Thursday 17 February 2022: Tina Watts has now created the Vintage clothes she enjoys wearing and is a SewOver50 follower.
Tina has a local op shop she can go to and regularly find fabrics, notions and patterns to make the vintage looks she curates for herself.
Would you believe her favourite sewing notion are metal zippers for dresses? These are hard to find but Tina keeps an eye out for these rare zippers. Yes, she harvests them from discarded clothes.
