Sewing means many things to different people. Karen Lennox tells us what sewing has meant in her life and vital it is to her right now.

She’s been fortunate to have learnt through her mother’s sewing life. Now she’s helping her granddaughter to learn to sew. This important skill is bring passed through Karen’s family tree.

Locally Karen cofounded the sewing ladies who lunch in the quiet suburbs of Newcastle. In March this year this local group of sewists held their first Frocktails.

Newcastle Frocktails was born through the leadership of Penny.
