Tuesday 9 January 2024: Lisa Walters is a SewOver50 follower and she’s a keen YouTube creator of sewing patterns. Not just any sewing patterns though.
In the lead up to gift giving season, many sewists made gorgeous gifts using their fabric scraps. Lisa creates sewing patterns of the cutest toys that many children and adults love.
Lisa’s creativity has allowed her to create seasonal sewing patterns so there are plenty of sewing projects you can find to use those fabric scraps for new things for yourself or for others.

Lisa (pictured above with her daughter Grace on the right) is a seasoned sewer with sewing in her blood. She has been sewing since she was a little girl and Lisa has sewn everything imaginable in that time.
Lisa shares her sewing knowledge and her love of sewing to help you create toys and gifts for the people you love.

You’ll find her sewing kits, patterns, tutorials and blog posts are of the highest standard so can create projects that are resourceful and can be given as gifts throughout the year.
The lovely collaboration Lisa discussed was about the characters she’s developed designs for and the stories her daughter Grace has written to accompany these really sweet sewing kits.
The over 50s Australian model Lisa mentions in this episode is Luisa
