For so many years, Janene has been hesitant to try new things. Since we spoke to her in 2021, she has built her confidence and said yes to the opportunities that have come her way.

In this podcast update, Janene is going to be involved in this year’s The Big SewOff on 3 September 2023.

Tuesday 15 August 2023: Janene – ooobop on Instagram – will be participating from her home sewing studio for this year’s Big SewOff.

Last year Janene was in awe of the sewing efforts by the Sew Over It team during their 24 hour sewing marathon to raise funds for Mind Charity.

This year Janene is road testing her patterns to see how many well-made garments she can sew for charity in a 24 hour period.

As she stated on her Instagram account, she’s proud to be taking part in @thebigsewoff this year. A fantastic Sewathon event hosted by @sewoveritlondon where she will be doing her best to sew throughout an entire 24 hour period.
