Tuesday 26 April 2021: Lindsie Rank is back to update us on her latest bust adjustment learnings, as she navigates making clothes for her pregnancy and nursing needs.

There are plenty of resources for increasing bust sizes by 2 inches/5cm. Lindsie currently needs to increase bust size by 7 inches/ 18cm and this might change during her pregnancy and nursing stage. She shares these details on the Sew Busty website.

As you can see below, she is already working on her nursing patterns.

Why not head over to her Sew Busty pattern review for all the details as well as the blog post about the Chalk and Notch Fringe dress pictured below.

Tuesday 27 July 2021: Lindsie Rank is the collaborative force behind the Sew Busty Community. Many people who sew have contributed to the Busty Pattern Database.
The Sew Busty Community is for anyone who is busty. Anyone who has ever had to do a full bust adjustment on a princess seam or for a full bust adjustment on a waist dart as just 2 of the most challenging examples.
Generally, Sew Busty Community content is focused on those with a 3″ or greater difference between their full and high bust measurements. At Sew Busty, they firmly believe all bodies are good bodies, and they aim to be inclusive of all busty sewists.
You’ll hear the joy and confidence Lindsie has to continue to work with sewists who want information to adjust patterns so suit their chests. Make sure you contribute to the Busty Pattern Database on their website.
Is this a plus size community?
SBC welcomes busty sewists of all sizes!
Plus size sewists certainly are often busty sewists. However, not all plus size sewists are busty, and not all busty sewists are plus size.
There are some amazing resources out there for plus-size sewists, such as the Curvy Sewing Collective. This is so important, as plus size people are so often marginalized in our society and in the sewing community. And while some of these resources (especially CSC, which uses an expansive definition of “curvy”) do a great job of offering support for busty sewists, we felt there was a need for a community focused exclusively on the specific needs of busty sewists at all sizes.
